- the contact owns a 2004, Hyundai XG350. The contact stated that a number of times when he applied the brakes the vehicle accelerated. The contact stated that on 02/16/2007 when he applied the brakes the vehicle kept accelerating and he hit the vehicle in front of him. The vehicle struck the bumper of the second vehicle and there was no damage, a police report was not filed. The contact stated that the roads were slick and wet and he was going uphill. The contact stated that there was slush on the road, and he was slowing down for a turn doing 5 mph. The contact stated that mechanic believed the failure was in the computer that controls how much gas flows into the engine. The current and failure mileage were both 30000.
