Hyundai motor corporation air bag wiring harness connector defect. Numerous Hyundai motor cars, XG350, sonata, etc. Have faulty connectors which prevent the airbag system from working. More than one dealer has stated in written service reports(available for review) the problems lie in a faulty airbag wiring connector in the wiring harness. They reseat the plugs in the front seats and then they reset the 'computer' and the airbag warning light goes out, however it comes back on again after a short interval. This 'defect' applies to numerous models of Hyundai cars. It is dubious the system will work properly in the event it is needed in an emergency.
