For the last six months, usually, just when I am trying to pull out into an intersection our 2001 Hyundai XG300 acts like it is possessed. The tactometer bounces up and down really fast and the car surges and wants to stall all at once and I bounce across the intersection. I am wondering if it is the drive train recall for the pcm (powertrain control module) that was installed improperly on the circuit board). After six months and $2000.00 later of in and out of an independent auto repair shop, we have had the alternator replaced, replaced a battery, and replaced the throttle body, and still we are having the same problem. If it is the power control module I believe it is a recall and it only costs $12.00 to fix it.
