oli leak from gasket causes alternator to short out
The challenge is that Hyundai is letting the vehicles stay on the road. Persons need to be aware that I am on the third (3rd) alternator replacement and there is no solution to stop the oil leak. All vehicles of this make and model need to be taken off the road, for safety. There is no warning of the alternator problem. However, if you have to charge or replace the battery, that is an indication or smoke from the hood of the vehicle. There is no warning.
