CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2010 Veracruz has a very small trend of complaints about the valve gaskets leaking oil onto the alternator, which is similar to prior model years and was covered in a 2014 recall.
Other than that, there are no major problems reported for the Veracruz on our site or to the NHTSA. Seems like it's a very good, reliable vehicle.

The contact owns a 2010 Hyundai Veracruz. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, she observed that the vehicle was leaking brake fluid. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V651000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The VIN was included, but parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.
2010 Hyundai Veracruz. Consumer writes in regards to stop lamp switch recall notice. The consumer stated the nearest dealer was 50 miles away. The consumer requested to have a Kia dealership, perform the recall, which was only 8 miles from his home. However, Hyundai stated Kia was not authorized to make the repair.
