When the AC/Heat is running on air settings 1,2,3 (This model is a base and does not have climate control), the blower fan motor will make a high pitched whine or squeal. This noise is dependent on if the road is rough and how long the fan has been blowing for. It seems the longer the fan is used the worse the noise will get. The blower fan part is a Bosch 97113-J3000. This part is not widely available and must be found used or through a dealership. I have yet to find a part.
This vehicle is a 2019 year with only 30,000 miles. The bearings on my blower motor should not be going out. This is often found to be an issue on a vehicle that is 20 years old and hundreds of thousands of miles. I am very disappointed and Hyundai dealerships have not been helpful in fixing the problem so I have taken matters into my own hands. I took apart the blower motor to try to oil the bearings but that has not seemed to work.
