In December of 2021, my oil light came on. I went to have the oil changed. They reported there was no oil.
I went again at 117,795 miles to have the oil changed. Again there was no oil. I was told that these engines burn oil.
Today, I went again prior to the suggested milage to change the oil again. Again there was no oil. I was informed of a lawsuit do to these engines consistently burning oil.
Prior to my oil changed at 30,000 miles I noticed that my oil light would come on when I made right or left hand turn. At that time I looked at my dip stick and there was no oil registering on the stick.... NO oil leaks and there are no oil stains/drips in my driveway where I park everyday. I then took my car to get it's oil change, they had nothing to drain. I have gone 2,000 miles and I have burned through 2.5 quarts of oil, I took my car back to my mechanic and he topped off my oil. My car is going in to start an oil consumption test this weekend. We will see what they have to say and how fast i burn through this oil.
Update from Nov 10, 2019: Engine was replaced at 34480 miles. Car is still not running correctly.
