At just below 60,000 miles, after 3 or 4 trips to Rally Hyundai for this problem, they finally replaced the transmission, not because they found the problem (they didn't), but because they found another issue with the transmission. The mechanic informed me Hyundai would not allow him to open the transmission to inspect. All he could do was replace it. He did say, that the transmission fluid he poured out was burned.
10,000 miles later, my new transmission has begun to lose power just like the previous transmission. I called Rally, and their response was that I should bring the vehicle in and get a rental car at my expense while they try to diagnose the problem. I am pissed. I had video the first time and video now and they are still nickel and diming me over their poor product design. They claim they know nothing of this issue that they've never seen it before yet, when I Google it, it's all over the place. This company sucks. This will be the last vehicle I purchase from Hyundai.
