After shopping for about 15 minutes, I was in my parked vehicle with my sibling in the target parking lot where the car was on but not running. I opened the automatic felt cover to where the sunroof does not open as well only the felt cover will open. I completely started my car so that it's now running and this is when my sunroof made a loud popping sound almost like a gunshot and started opening unprovoked then completely shattered over both of our heads.
