Hyundai should not be over playing the Veloster as the car gets 40 highway and 29 city type of deal, it does not even come close. Yes, they have that I going to give you some of the gas money back card program every year from misquoting the mileage deal from the get go. But who did they hire to re-evaluate the stats on what the car really gets, maybe a third grader who can't calculate?
The navigation screen gas mileage game thing has quoted the car getting 45 miles to the gallon but the actual counter on the steering wheel typically says it gets 23 miles to the gallon, way, way, way, way off. This car burns thru gas like it's an SUV, I might add almost any car doing highway miles gets great gas miles. Also, it's not me driving all crazy, speeding and doing heavy stop and go with air on either, the car gets not so great gas mileage. The car is nice looking like I stated before, but the big draw to it was the quoted 40 miles to the gallon, this is as bad as their Kumho tires that wear out at 20,000 miles. Will never buy another Hyundai again, I am not impressed.
