The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle independently decelerated to 20 MPH with the RPMs falling and the vehicle almost stalling. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to exceed 20 MPH. The contact pulled over to the side of the roadway, turned off the vehicle, and waited for approximately 5 minutes. The vehicle was restarted and operated normally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 25,714.
