The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power with the oil warning light illuminated. The contact attempted to accelerate; however, the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The contact pulled over to the side of the roadway and the vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that oil was not being pumped to the engine as needed which caused the engine to seize. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and suggested that a buy back for the vehicle. The failure mileage was 575.
