With the problem of 'Distracted Driving' you would think that Hyundai would be moving to minimize their contribution to this potentially dangerous condition. Unfortunately, it appears that they are doing the exact opposite by forcing drivers to spend more time looking at their infotainment screen than the road.
When I first purchased my 22 Hyundai Tucson Limited all of the primary displays worked wonderfully including the "Phone Favosites Icon". Upon update the maps for the first time, The "Phone Favorites Icon" was deleted. I attempted to contact Hyundai Customer Service only to hit a dead end as no one had any idea why they were eliminated. My communications continued for multiple contacts with several levels in their hierarchy.
Well, upon my next update, hoping that the might have fixed the problem, I found that they not only did not reinstall the "Phone Favorites Icon" they had removed the 'Radio Preset Button Icons". Again Hyundai could provide any explanation for the deletions and no possible fixes.
Recently, after a two month delay another update came through. Needless to say they did it again: Now the ability to "scan radio stations Icon" has been deleted.
At this rate future updates will probable work on telepathy.
