I had the car for approximately 2 days. I was driving the car at night when the entire interior of the car became dim, and the electrical system failed all together, so I rolled to a stop placed the car in park and restarted the vehicle. I drove approximately 3 minutes more and it happened again. I restarted the vehicle. The car went in for servicing the following day. The service manager said that there were no codes, it must have been a loose wire or ground and they returned the vehicle.
Now almost 10 months later and approximately 33,335 miles, it happened again. I was driving the vehicle, approaching a stop light , the electrical system cut off entirely, so I pulled over and restarted the car. The dealer had the car for over a week. claimed no codes were present. They couldn't recreate the condition, and the Hyundai Regional manager didn't help at all, told me to continue driving the car or bring it to another dealer. I told him to drive a car that decides whenever it wants to fail electrically and stall while driving. The car was again returned to me, without any remedy. I told the service manager, how do I produce evidence of an intermittent problem that doesn't log in the computer module. He had no advice at all.
