brand new 2017 with dual clutch transmission, just stops When this happen, I was on my way to a dentist appt and was leaving a traffic light, I hit the gas and the vehicle would not rev up and would just go slow and it took quite a while for it to get going.... It's a good thing that the person was very understanding and didn't ride my bumper... I had to get on the interstate I10 and again it just dint't want to go, but finally I did get it going... So I just babied it to the dealership after the dentist appt...I checked with the Mgr there and was told that they had no Idea as what was going on with my new Tucson...I did take it in to the service mgr and after a hour or more and they said that they couldn't find what was going on handed me the key and sent me on my way... It was a nerve racking drive home... The first thing i did when i got home was to google my exact vehicle and I what i found was very hard to believe... I found out I that I purchased a lemon with all the problems with the dual clutch transmission... Also that it has been going on all the way back to the new 2016 model....I blame my self that I didn't do more research... The sad thing is that none of the sales folks didn't mention or call to my attention about the dual clutch being any different, so when I test drove it, It didn't do anything out of the normal, so I thought that everything was fine... I test drove it twice and watched many videos on U Tube and everything seemed fine ...The only thing that I was told at the service dept was that i was going to learn how to drive this vehicle... First time that i have ever purchased a vehicle that was told that i would have to learn how to drive it... It looks like i am in for a long hard ride and lesson... SO SAD....!

Update from Dec 8, 2016: [ 1st ] Oct-25-2016 The first Complaint was listed on the above listing on Sept 20, 2016. Like I reported above the service dept checked the vehicle on a test drive They could not duplicate. They scan for codes and no code found..Told me to learn how to drive it because it has the " Dual Clutch " Transmission. I never ever heard of such a thing...!

[ 2nd ] Nov-03-2016 I had another Complaint occur again....It acted the very same way, Taking off from the stop light, it would loss power big time almost as if it was not getting gas.. At the stop light, every body on both side of me would take off and there I sat, just crawling...So bad... I then took it to another dealership to be checked again...The service advisor told me they road tested the vehicle and could not get it to duplicate the issue again, and that the vehicle was operating to design. No hesitation or shifting issue... Also scan for codes and nothing found... HOWEVER, THEY DID SHARE WITH ME THAT A NEW SOFTWARE WAS DUE SOON AND THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT ME WHEN IT CAME IN...

[ 3RD ] Nov-16-2016 Was the appt date for me to take the Tucson back to the dealership for the " New Update " which they did. The " update " was completed and it was called. 60C095R1 CAMPAIGN #T1B ECM & TCM Update.. They shared with me that this was the " BIG ONE " and I should be on my way, and I went home feeling really happy and that maybe I still has purchased the " RIGHT Vehicle " that I thought I had and not a " Lemon "'. I went home and shared with her all that happen and how we should be on our way, no more service visits at the dealership other that oil changes....

[ 4TH ] Dec-05-2016 I am really sorry to report this again... From the 11-16 until 12-04 the Tucson really great and I was thinking that I was not going to need the service dept again, BOY WAS I WRONG...! On this morning, I had taken my wife out for breakfast and we started on our way home... AT every traffic light which their was 6 lights on our way home and it happen at every one till we got home....Also some times in between the lights it would bog down like not getting fuel or a electrical short....We were soooooo disappointed. So there for I made this appt, and took it back to the same dealership that did the software " Update "... I got the tech to drive with me and we could not get it do it. SO BACK TO PLAN NO 1, as they say...! THE BEAT GOES ON....!
