June 2017 I leased a Hyundai Tucson. It already had 200 hundred miles on it when I purchase it. While taking the car out for a test drive, I noticed the rpm was going up a little high when taking off. I told the sales person, but of course they overlooked it. Nothing was said nor done about it. Dummy me still leases the car.
Then after a few fill ups I notice the SUV was or is eating up a lot a gas. I'm supposed to be getting 23 mpg. That's a joke. I fill car up with gas and I go like 17 miles and it's on the 2nd digit from the F. So I call up the Dealership and complain. Took car for them to look at it and of course they said there's nothing wrong. I have been keeping track on paper before and after filling up. After a few months I got tired of it and again nothing was ever done.
2/20/17 took car back to the dealership for the same problem. Now the manger is telling me that since I only have 3000 miles on car it isn't broken in yet. Then he said that I must be driving in 4 wheel drive. I don't have 4 wheel drive. Then he said how many people do I have in vehicle and what are their weight. I said the car seats 5 people and for their weights that has nothing to do with why the car is eating up gas. I ask the guy if I was 400 pounds then I shouldn't buy this car because of the weight? He said yes. I said dude that's the stupidest thing I ever heard.
I'm going to put car in the shop for the third time and we all know what comes after that....this dealership has done nothing but give me a pep talk every time I complain over this gas issue
