transmission interlock at times does not release, which results in a NO START condition. the interlock can be released IF you follow the instructions to release the shift lever [ "remove the small cover, insert a small screwdriver or key to release the interlock"] That's fine now you got it out of Park But, you still can't start the engine. This is a dangerous condition and at least leaves you stranded unable to operate your vehicle as necessary a definite SAFETY CONCERN.
