IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT YOUR HYUNDAI BLUE LINK® SERVICES Dear Holly,
We want to inform you how upcoming third party cellular network changes will impact your access to Hyundai Blue Link features in your 2015 Hyundai.
The Hyundai Blue Link device in your vehicle requires a 2G cellular network to access Blue Link services1,2. These cellular networks are maintained by wireless service providers outside the control of Hyundai and Hyundai Blue Link. Due to changes in telecommunications technology over time, the wireless service provider of the network enabling the use of your Hyundai Blue Link device has recently announced that it will discontinue 2G cellular network service by December 31, 20212.
As a consequence, after December 31, 2021, we regret your Hyundai Blue Link device will become inactive as a result of the network discontinuation and access to Blue Link services will be unavailable2 . We have adjusted our Service Plans to allow affected Hyundai Blue Link customers to have the maximum duration of service until the network discontinuation. Therefore, after February 23, 2021, annual subscription renewals for Hyundai Blue Link will no longer be available and will automatically renew to a Service Plan with month-to-month billing in order to access Blue Link services through December 31, 2021, unless you choose to cancel. Price will not be increased as a result of this change because all month-to-month subscriptions will be billed at a rate equal to the annual pricing.
Please see below for additional details and note that after June 1, 2021, if your subscription lapses and/or your account is deactivated, you will not be able to re-enroll in Hyundai Blue Link services. Cancellation information is also provided. What this means for Subscribers renewing BEFORE February 23, 20201: • If you are currently in an annual subscription that renews before February 23, 2021 and choose to continue your subscription, you will be renewed automatically for one additional annual term. Your service will remain active until December 31, 2021, at which time your service will be canceled and you will receive a refund prorated for any remaining time left on your subscription. You can switch to a monthly payment plan at any time prior to your final annual renewal date by calling 1-855-2-BLUELINK.
• If you are already on monthly billing, your subscription will continue at the new monthly rate on the first renewal after February 23, 2021 and continue until the end of the final network date as described above. What this means for Subscribers renewing AFTER February 23, 2021: • If you are currently in an annual subscription with a renewal date that falls after February 23, 2021 and would like to continue your subscription through December 31, 2021, you will be automatically renewed to the monthly version of your current Service Plan with the new month-to-month billing rate3 on or before your next renewal date. What this means for Trial Customers: • If you are currently in a trial subscription and would like to purchase a subscription to continue service after your trial has expired until December 31, 2021, you must do so before June 1, 2021. Hyundai Blue Link services will be offered on monthly billing terms only3. You can visit MyHyundai.com to select the Service Plan with month-to-month billing. All Customers • You may cancel your Hyundai Blue Link subscription at any time by calling 1-855-2-BLUELINK or going online to MyHyundai.com. All subscription cancellations are subject to the refund policy stated in the Connected Service Agreement Terms And Conditions. See https://www.hyundaiusa.com/content/myhyundai/us/en/terms-and-conditions.html for complete terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us at 1-855-2-BLUELINK. Thank you for being a valued Hyundai Blue Link customer.
