rear hatch door close's suddenly. bad
I was getting thing's out of back of cargo area of my car. Suddenly the Hatch door slammed down on me. No warning. It hurt quiet a bit. Being a man in fairly good shape, I had the strength to wiggle around to get in position to push open the door. I feel this is a possible dangerous problem. If this had been my wife which is 67, or an even an older woman it would have caused injury, not to mention they would not have been able to get out. The Hatch door is to heavy especially if it is on your back or arm, hand. A small limb such as an arm or hand would have been broken. My car is only 4 years old and well taken care of. The Hyundai dealer was not friendly or interested in what had happened. A person below him, took a complaint from me and did show concern. Looked up the part for me. Gave me the quote and called in the complaint to Hyundai head quarter's. I was called about an hour later, the dealer was not going to help at all. I think the public has learned that you really do not get much help if it may cost money. Is their anyone else out there with similar problem's. Any suggestion's ?
