I drove my car to get my mail, stopped the car and put it in Park, then exited the vehicle. I walked away and a few seconds later I saw the car drive away. I ran after it to try to stop it, I opened the car tried to get in but becasue the car was moving so quickly I fell out of the car and suffered severe injuries. A passing neighbour managed to stop the car by jumping in the car, and moved the gear from Drive to Park-YES the gears slipped from Park to Drive becasue there is no way that I got out of a moving car.
The car was brought to the Hyundai Dealer said that the shifter was not shifting smooth removed air box and found inhibitor needed relacement, also got code for evap leak very large leak
THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL ME THAT THESE ISSUES DID NOT CAUSE THE SUV TO MALFUNCTION.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS HAD A SIMILAR ISSUE.
