DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI!!! My Tucson won't pass smog in California because check engine light comes on. So I took it to a couple different independent auto repair places then the dealership. Check engine light comes on and the two parts it says needs replacing are oxygen sensors. The codes are P0173 and P0170. The parts have been replaced multiple times which will not clear the codes. The dealership said that they could try replacing them again with Hyundai manufactured parts but he doubts very much if that will clear the codes. The air flow sensor has also been replaced. The computer has been updated and checked twice. I called Hyundai Corporation and Chris Bellegia at Hyundai Corporation actually told me that Hyundai cars are only good for 100,000 miles (mine was 102,000) and they take no responsibility after its out of warranty EVEN IF THE DEALER CAN'T FIX IT!!! Do you really want to buy a car that's only good for 100,000 miles???
