The contact owns a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon. The contact stated that when the air conditioner was activated, the indicator light illuminated intermittently or would become inoperable. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on five separate occasions. The blower switch was replaced twice. In addition, the blower switch casing and wires were melted. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 62,000.
