2005 Hyundai tiberon. Per discussion with the investigating officer, the driver was going around a sharp corner too fast. Lost control of the vehicle (possibly because the ESC unit inputs or steering box malfunction) and started fishtailing. Vehicle then slid sideways into another vehicle (side impact). None of the 4 airbags deployed, killing the driver instantly. Accident is still being investigated.
My client, lorie kindrat, was involved in an automobile accident on October 6, 2005. She was driving a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon equiped with driver front and side air bags. She was struck on the driver's side by a vehicle going approximately 30 mph. The side air bags failed to deploy. She sustained life threatening injuries.
