clear coat peeling off rear bumper, side vents, door handles
This seems to be common with Hyundai cars in general. I have noticed many other Hyundai vehicles with peeling clear coat. Obviously they are using a defective or substandard quality clear coat. I am 63 years old and I have owned many vehicles in my life, but I have never owned a vehicle where the clear coat peeled off. I think Hyundai owners should consider a class action suit against Hyundai. This issue destroys the resale value and is costly to repair. I would be hesitant to purchase another Hyundai not because of mechanical issues but because of the possibility of having to have it repainted within a few years.
