I brought this to dealers attention in Feb 2004. They said it was the way I was driving the car. Brought it in 4 more times over the next 1.5 years and they still said there is no problem. Now that the warranty is up, they want to drop the transmission and do a diagnostic which will cost me $2000.00 if it is not the transmission. I do not want to give them any more of my money or business. I have leased a hyundai tiburon from hyundai dealers for the last 8 years, since the first 1999 model came out. The complete lack of customer service and derogatory remarks from service men and mechanics and failure to resolve the problem for me in the first place has made me irrated!! I am still trying to resolve this issue before the car is returned at the end of July. When a general public or friend asks me if I like this car, my response is a definate NO! and I never recommend this car to anyone who is looking to buy or lease a new car! I have never been so disgusted with the lack of professionalism and customer service with any such company in my entire life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO ANYONE!
