Upon purchasing this vehicle I noticed that antifreeze smell. Asked the seller if it had a bad core. Found out the radiator had a crack. Had it repaired. Went for the emission test and, was told the vehicle had been rejected 3 times before. Went to my mechanic and, was told to drive 50 miles. Light went on after completing the trip. Purchased new gas cap. Light then went off. Failed emission again. Had purge valve put on vehicle. Still failed. Was told to keep driving till computer resets. After several trips the computer went from 2 monitors not ready to 3 monitors not ready. Was told to idle car for 15 minutes then drive at 55mph for ten minutes, After the ten minutes get back on expressway and. get car to run through gears and, get to 65mph. This should help reset computer, Well this did not work. I at this time do not know what to do.
