Driving along one evening and it became harder and harder to move the steering wheel. It turned out the power steering line had a leak. I had to order the line from a local hyundai dealership (it took about a week to arrive) and then to have the new power steering line installed, the mechanic had to disconnect the rack and pinion steering in order to disconnect the old line (it was seized). From the time the problem occurred to the time I got my fixed car back again, I waited about two weeks. Final cost of parts and auto shop labor was approximately $850. Since then I've had to replace front and rear struts, an alternator, a battery, lots of tires, front coil springs, and tie rod ends. Current problems include rusted out quarter panels, faded paint, and a rusted sub-frame. Getting rid of this car ASAP.
