Seems that during a standard recall Hyundai aggravated a rodent that ate my cars battery charging wires. We were notified by Hyundai that we needed to pay for repairs. After searching it was discovered that Hyundai (along with other manufacturers) are aware that the NEW, since 2008 soy based wiring attracts rodents.
In turn these rodents eat the wiring. Wiring replaced with same soy based continues to attract rodents and create a never ending cycle of repairs.
