The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to a Kia dealer for oil change and brake fluid flush; however, upon test driving the vehicle after the service, the brake pedal was depressed but went to the floorboard, and the vehicle responded with a significant delay. The Kia dealer was notified of the failure, but the vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted while driving. There was no warning light illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the Kia dealer had diagnosed that the parking brake was inoperable. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000.
