I had always maintained the maintenance on my car and it was in great shape. I just finished paying off my loan a few months ago. I always keep my car after the payments are done. Rodents were attracted to the wiring on my hybrid wires to the battery and caused $22,000 worth of damage which made the insurance company total my car. Now I am only getting around $8,000 for a car that was in perfect condition otherwise.
I am upset that they are using a coating on the wires that are attracting rodents to eat the coating and cause damage to the wires. Is there a class action lawsuit concerning this?
My care was a 2015 Sonata hybrid.
