Seatbelt pops out of the seatbelt receiver and most of the time, seatbelt does not attach to receiver at all. Does not attach properly. This is happening for long time but I did not know about this site that we can file a safety issues on cars.
Traveling at 60 mph in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata hybrid. A deer approximately weighing 150 pounds jumped on to the road and collided with my before mentioned vehicle. Causing damage on the front bumper, hood, and passenger side fender. The concern is that despite this impact no airbags deployed. There was significant damage estimated by an insurance approved collison repair center to be in excess of $9000. Additionally the seat belt restraint did not lock upon impact. Only minor injuries were sustained such as whiplash and a bumped head. These injuries were not documented, yet I do feel that it is important to mention them for general public awareness and a genuine concern for my fellow drivers.
