I have a 2013 Hyundi Sonata Hybrid. with push button start. There is a flaw....if you pull into your garage and leave the key Fab inside the car...there is no sound because its on battery mode...you get distracted for any reason and think the car is off when really it isn't. As you leave the car..the car cycles into engine mode and the engine runs for about 5 minutes and goes back to battery mode. This cycle will keep up until you get back into car and physically shut it down . One Family in my area already died from engine fumes because of this.
I contacted Hyundi Corporation to make a complaint...but with deaf ears ! I want people reading this to know this could happen to them !....My next step is to contact....the...National Highway Traffic Administration.
