The car was not shifting out of 3rd gear. We slowed down and pulled to the shoulder of the road turning the car off and restarting. A yield light continued to flash indicating that there was a malfunction with the hybrid system. It finally started jerking as we accelerated. We made to the nearest town about 5-10 miles away. The car died and would not start. It was towed in on a Sunday evening and we were told on Monday morning that it would be late afternoon before they could look at it. I received a call from the dealer late afternoon. Their exact words were, " our tech is clueless as to what the problem is. We will have to call a technician that is specialized." I thought, WOW! We were at least 200 miles from home. They didn't have a loaner vehicle or rental and "clueless" as to what the problem was. Today, I call and check in; they tell me it's the module to the transmission. They told me they didn't know when they were going to get a part in. I would have to call back later to find out. Really ?????
