The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that when it rained the driver's side passenger door allowed water to leak into the vehicle. The contact stated that the water was pooling inside the driver's side passenger foot well. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the door gasket needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The contact had taken the vehicle back to the dealer several times for the failure and was informed that there was nothing that could be done to stop the leak. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000.
The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that on two separate occasions while driving at undisclosed speeds; the splash shield would rip without impact. The contact stated that there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle due to the failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer after the initial failure and had the part replaced out of pocket. After the second failure, the manufacturer was notified, and a case was filed to have the manufacturer cover the cost of the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000.
