I noticed the paint chipping away on my 2020 Sonata. I was talking to a sales person about potentially trading it in but I mentioned my concern about the paint. He told me they are having this issue, and asked if my car is white, it is. He then told me for some reason the white "pearl" paint is a problem. So I took my car to get service, surely it would be covered under warranty, its a 2020 that I leased in 2021, nope it only covered for the first 36,000 miles.
They claim the problem was fixed it was only for older models 2016 & 2017. Obviously not, my paint is chipping on the hood, on the side, and the trunk.
I'm done, Hyundai will not get another dime from me.
