Same Problem: Hybrid Failure Shut Off Engine. Very dangerous experience ... 18 wheeler cresting hill at 70MPH.....my speed in LIMP MODE is 20 MPH.... heavy traffic. At last moment truck was able to avoid collision. Pulled off road...Called BlueLink to ensure computer codes were being recorded. After 20 minutes at side of road with engine running, the battery indicator was pegged at max charge.
My worry...Lithium Ion batteries are know to explode. This one is a monster. I shut off and then restarted engine. No indication on dashboard.... I tried to burn off excess battery charge.
Took to Dealer on 7/14/17. What next? I don't have a car! I have payments for a car!
You can guess what I think of Hyundai at this time.
