One day driving while on a small get away, I hear a random horn blowing as an SUV passed me. I thought "what's that guys problem?" as the driver was looking straight ahead with no response while honking. I realized he was further away and the horn was just as loud. It was coming from my car. After my boyfriend punched the steering wheel a couple of times, it stopped....for a few seconds. It started up again and again. Eventually when we couldn't figure out the issue, we took the fuse out. I have been without a horn as I had a quote to fix it, and the place never actually diagnosed it and just guessed it was the clock spring in the steering wheel. No other issues on the dash or on the steering column have an issue. So the $1200 possible fix was not worth it to me. I will try and take it to another shop, but it's definitely a pain not having a horn. My guess is it's the horn switch or button and hopefully it is not a $1000 + fix.
