Okay, My husband and I bought this car, one year ago, June 2015. We had have problems with the key entry (FOB) it's called. It's a keyless entry. I have gone back to the Hyundai dealer several times with this issue. At home, I receive a message on the dashboard of low key battery on FOB. This happened in September, then again, in February/ March and now again in August.
The first time, I brought it to the dealer and the light didn't come on (when I am at the Dealer) so their is nothing the dealer will do. He said the mechanic cannot do anything if the light does not come on. So I have to go to the parts department and they put new batteries in the two keyless FOB's. The second time the light came on at home and did come on at the dealer so they did fix it. Now I am their for a 3rd and 4th time - the light goes on at home but not at the dealer --- so I have to go to the parts department for the batteries. There is something wrong with this service I am receiving from Hyundai.
It just makes no sense to me, why I keep having this problem over and over again and nothing can be done to resolved it. The problem comes back again in a few months. I would like the mechanic could look at the key and the electric system together and see if there is some malfunction.
