Accepted leased Sonata and found windshield washer not working. Took to dealer near my home. Was told by Hyundai tech that animal had chewed through the wiring. Would cost $250. to repair.
Had car fixed and took invoice to Antwerpen Hynudai to get reimbursed for the cost. Manager Neville Dick said they would reimburse me for the cost of repair. That was the last I heard from Antwerpen. It's been several months now.
The following was sent to the Head guy at Antwerpen:
Don;
I have been extremely patient waiting for the money and a response from my many inquiries to Antwerpen personnel. I will be more than happy to remove the complaint from Yelp if and when I can be reimbursed for the animal damage.
Appreciate your response.
Ken

That's not the way to get help but if that's what you feel is best. Okay

3/21/2016 Leased a Sonata from Antwerpen Hyundai - Clarksville, MD. An animal had chewed through the wiring for the windowwasher sprayer so I could not get the windowshield clean.. Went to have repair work done and was told it would be $250. The Hyundai tech wrote up invoice stating an animal had caused the damage.
Sent invoice to Antwerpen and spoke to the manager there and was told that I would be reimbursed for the damage repair since damage was caused prior to me accepting the lease.
It's been over a month now, no money, no response to my phone calls or e-mails. What a rip-off. I guess JACK only says YES in the TV ads but when it comes to correcting something that is obviously their fault, JACK says hell NO!
