crash due to failure stop; car accelerated, would not brake
I was driving my car on a busy day before Christmas, going to a grocery store with my adult son as a passenger.
Entering the parking lot I turned to enter a row of parked cars and altho I tried to slow the car it would not and seemed to be accelerating. I tried furiously to stop by braking but the car would not stop. Heading towards a busy street I had to chose to turn abruptly, jumped a curb and crashed into a retaining wall.
I have a back injury. This could have been so much worse if I had not been able to turn and make contact with the retaining wall.
