Same time Check Engine Light came on, the OUTSIDE TEMP INDICATOR is flashing bars (not working). This is 2 of 2 complaints. Again, this is a brand new car and SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!
Update from Jan 4, 2015: Southwestern Desert Pack Rat was found to have chewed wiring harness. Not covered under warranty or insurance. Found out that most new cars have wiring harness insulation / covering made from "Soy". Critters love to munch on "soy based" materials. The design / materials engineers that came up with this should be ...... well, I prefer not to say.
