I brought my car in a total of 4 times for this issue. They had a hard time diagnosing it in the beginning. The first three times I was at the Racine dealership, they would not give me a loaner car, which really frustrated me, and I was there each time for over 3 hours each time! When going on a test drive to make sure another problem was fixed, the technician finally figured out that is was the rear panel of the panoramic sunroof that was making all the rattling noise. I went online to see if any other Hyundai owners reported the same problem, and sure enough, it seemed to be a common problem, go figure! So, when I took it in for the fourth time to have it fixed, the technician assured my they fixed the problem by taking the panel out and sanding the rubber between the two panels. I am quite sure all they did was to lubricate it to temporarily stop the rattling. After a very short period of time, the rattling was back and with a vengeance! Everytime I have to go to the dealership, it is a 50 minute drive each way, which makes it very frustrating when they give me such a hassle about a loaner car. I would rather they keep my car longer and fix it right, instead of making me spend a majority of my day off there. Also, one of the times I went to pick up my car before work on a Saturday morning, and they knew I was coming, they did not set the keys out for my car and they were locked in an office that no one had the keys for. Therefore, I drove almost two hours for nothing with more than a "sorry." That is my time and my gas money that was wasted for nothing! I love the look of my car, and at the time I thought it was a good value for the money, but now, I will not be buying a Hyundai ever again. Unfortunately, I still have about 2 1/2 years of payments left!
