The transmission was slipping for a while starting from around 2017. At the end of 2008 went to dealer; they changed the trans for a NEW ??? one. For them a new one is a used casing with supposedly all new parts inside. But the one installed must contain the exact same viciated parts because it started slipping within 6 months.
Hyundai does not repair transmissions, they only change them. But if they always replace it with a unit that contains the same old primary parts, the problems will return for sure. This is not honest!!!! Shame on Hyundai!!!
