I've only had this car for 6 months and the axles were bad and replaced by Hyundai dealer. Then I bought this certified pre-owned Hyundai Sontata. Now not even 5 months later, I have the same issue but the dealer said the warranty on axles is 12,000 miles or 1 year and I did 13,000 so they wouldn't replace them again. I've had original axles on my other Toyota car for 10 years and never had an issue so how do Hyundai Sonata original axles only last 5 months?
I did some research and this is a common issues with Hyundai Sonata, they had a TSB on the 2011 models for the same issue, TSB #14-DS-001-1 for this known issue. Why is the dealer trying to charge me over $1000 when I paid over $15,000 for the car and for extended warranty? This isn't right after only 5 months and 13,000 miles, so now Im reporting it.
