Additionally, the contact stated that the front passenger's side seat belt buckle assembly was inoperable. The contact stated that he was an independent mechanic and had determined that the front driver's side seat belt buckle assembly and the front passenger's side seat belt buckle assembly needed to be replaced. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 170,000.
