After we bought it we recognized a whistling coming from the vent behind the glove box. We had it looked at and they decided the only way to fix it was replace the whole fan assembly (why not it's under warranty). Today my wife was driving and it started making a very loud rattling (grinding) sound. They are replacing the entire unit again.
