Hyundai states that it's a common problem and usually cost around $1300 to fix it.

The driver side airbag light is alway on since last week. No accident. Looks like there are a lot of similar issues with Sonata. Just wondering if there is any recall

Update from Jan 5, 2018: Took the car to the dealship. it is due to the clock spring issue which is covered under extended warranty.

Have scheduled an appointment to have it fixed.
