A class action lawsuit was filed in May 2015 against Hyundai that claims the 2.4L Sonata engine is defective. More info here.
Random dash warning lights come on and sometimes speedometer and tach will shut off. When speedometer shuts off then the car will not go into gear until this fault clears. Am taking it to the dealer today but am afraid they are going to say this is an intermittent electrical problem that they cannot find a solution for and will start changing one part after another at my expense. Happened to me before.
Huge pain when you need your car for long distance driving and you can't rely on it! Any suggestions?
