I'm not sure what the problem is. It's happened twice during the past month....while I was driving I looked at the windshield and the gear which should be on D was not visible. Both times I managed to get home, I put the car on reverse to park, but the R gear did not appear in the windshield. The car does feel a bit different when this happens. I turned the car off and back on and I was then able to see the P as the gear. This is definitely nerve wrecking. What would cause for a car's gear not to be visible on the windshield?
Additionally, about 2 weeks ago, the car did not start at all. I thought it was the starter, which I replaced about a year ago. I ended up towing the car to the dealership and the car miraculously turned on when it arrived at the dealership.I am worried because I no longer feel that the vehicle is reliable.
Apart from these issues, the car has had a number of other issues that I won't mention here, but I'm definitely disappointed at the amount I've spent at the dealership to get it service along with the amount of money that it has costed me. I feel like this car is a total lemon. Like many other owners, I agree that the car looks good inside and out, but at the end of the day, the car is simple not reliable.
