Went to warm the car up for my wife this morning. As I pulled the door latch, the key lock portion fell out onto the ground. I called the dealer (where we've had all the service done) and he said he couldn't help me. After mentioning that my Ford truck has 180K miles and the original door locks, he replied "What can I say, I don't build'em." I haven't had the chance to get to a garage yet.
After doing some online research, I'm finding this is a common problem.
